Daylight

from Hamlet by Woods of Birnam

/

lyrics

(O) come away, (O) come away, death
and in sad cypres let me be laid

fly away, fly away, breath
I am slain by a fair cruel maid

stuck all with yew / no one so true

ah – ah – ah – ah ...

the daylight / your fair shade / an overcoat of shame
in dead night / (so) darkly bright / O come away, I'm slain

ah – ah – ah – ah ...

all days are dark(ened) nights
to see till I see thee
and nights are all (all are) bright days
when dreams do show thee me

the daylight / your fair shade / an overcoat of shame
in dead night / (so) darkly bright / O come away, I'm slain
